My dream kitchen table

My dear smart, savvy bandster buddies, I need your help. I have been dreaming about this table and chairs for some time now. I have been to the store twice in the past year. Now don't laugh...the reason I couldn't decide whether I should change my existing table is because of the edge that goes around the underside of this table and what an intimate proximity it had to my thighs last time I sat at it in the store. So...I am mustering up some courage to go back again and check it out now...I have lost almost 25 lbs and I know I will be losing a whole lot more so I should try it again...right? What do you think? I really want to get it...and now that I am no longer scarfing my food down, I will be spending more time sitting here enjoying my meals. What should I do. It's my birthday this week and I could convince my husband that it's a great gift since he won't need to wrap it. I will stand by for your comments. Thanks so much!

Oh, I say - if you can afford it.. DO IT!! Really. Like you said: a table is for using and you will get heaps of use out of it.

You will have found with a loss of 25 pounds you will find a difference in the height when you sit too. That will be your undoing lol. Credit anyone??

Do it! I love the table... our kitchen furniture is maple colored-- but we did our bedroom in that white wood and I love it, it is very summery and great looking.
Enjoy, great NSV for you!

DO it !! It is a great table and yes you most surely be enjoying it more now. Besides I love white wood, with the exception of my kitchen cabinets ( no dinning room since I live in a manhattan apt) all my other furniture is white wood.

Hey Elliana.. I think you know the answer to your question.. If this is what you have been dreaming of (and can afford) then Just Do It. The thigh issue will always serve as a reminder of how hard you have worked to get there.. and I bet you slide right under that table just fine.. keep up the good work and enjoy the table!!

Good on you!!

I am committed to learning to reward myself with things other than food. I think this would be a wonderful way to treat yourself and a great reminder of how far you've come :-)
